Typical complaints consist of a stiff back, low back pain or high back pain. These problems can develop into chronic back pain problems. For example, because patients delay seeking help and treatment due to apathy or fear. Problems can also linger because cause factors are constant such as poor (work) posture, overload and stress at work or sport or an inactive lifestyle.

Specific back pain

Specific back problems (> 5%) have a clear physical cause.
